WHEN TO CALL A LICENSED SEPTIC OR PLUMBING CONTRACTOR.

Most homeowners call us after a problem becomes visible. Many of these signs can be caught earlier, which is often the difference between a repair and a full replacement.

Slow draining kitchen sink, septic system problem Florida home

SLOW DRAINS
THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE

Multiple slow drains usually point to the septic tank or drain field, not the fixture itself.

Standing water near drain field, failing septic system Florida

POOLING WATER NEAR
THE DRAIN FIELD

Wet spots or standing water over the drain field area indicate a saturated or failing system.

Flooded patio drain after rain, septic backup Florida home

RECURRING BACKUPS
AFTER RAIN

Backups that worsen after rain usually mean a failing drain field or damaged piping.

Wet ground near septic tank, sewage odor outside Florida home

SEWAGE ODOR
INSIDE OR OUTSIDE

Persistent odor near the tank or drain field points to a leak, a blockage, or a system overdue for service.

Cracked aging septic tank lid, septic inspection Florida

SYSTEM IS OLDER
THAN 25 YEARS

Most systems last 20 to 30 years. If yours hasn’t been evaluated recently, an inspection is the right next step.

BUYING, SELLING,
OR REMODELING

SEPTIC FAQ
USUALLY ASK US.

It depends on what is failing. A clogged line, a damaged distribution box, or a single saturated section of drain field can often be repaired. A tank that has failed structurally, or a drain field that is no longer absorbing, usually requires replacement. We evaluate the system and explain what we find before recommending any work.

From the first site visit to a completed, inspected system, most residential projects take two to four weeks. Permit processing with the county health department typically accounts for the first part of that timeline. Physical installation on site is usually completed in two to five working days.

Invertech holds five active Florida state contractor licenses: General Contractor, Building Contractor, Plumbing Contractor, Mechanical Contractor, and Underground Utility. We carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. License numbers are published in the footer of every page and are verifiable through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

Yes. Permit filing, coordination with the Department of Health or building department, and final inspection close-out are part of our standard process. You do not need to file anything on your behalf.

Always. After a site evaluation, you receive a written quote that describes the scope of work, materials, expected timeline, and cost. No work begins until the estimate is reviewed and approved.

Have a septic or plumbing issue at your property?

We evaluate the condition, explain what we find, and give you a written scope before any work begins.
